Preferences - Queries

A Query can be thought of as a mini-report although no restrictions have been established as to a Query's complexity or the quantity of data being interrogated. The pre-requisite for a Query report is its creation with the Report Generator (i.e. Report Builder - Print Templates and Report Procedures).

When selecting Preferences - Queries for the first time, the view will show all reports created with the Report Generator below the query separator line titled: Drag queries above this line. To designate a report to be available as a Query, drag the report into the active query area.

As a result of this, Tools > Query... becomes enabled and will display the Select Query panel:

Please Note: Labels2up is a valid report; however, it was not included in the active query area of the Preferences' Queries view and is, therefore, not listed as an option in the Select Query panel.
